This internship has shaped my career views drastically. I wanted to intern an attorney because i thought that litigation would be something I could potentially work in later in my life. During the month I've heard and seen a lot of fascinating and terrible things that have only brought me closer to the field. At the beginning of the internship, litigation had my curiosity, but now it has my attention. Though the few times I've been to court haven't always been totally eventful, it's show me that there are things that I can learn. Weather it be learning how to please a client or act around fellow attorneys, I've learned a lot.
I've seen a lot of interactions between the attorneys at my firm, and I really like the way that things go down. Everybody is open and comfortable with each other and they treat each other with respect and treat each other right. It's all great, and based off the experiences from my internship, I can say that law would be something that I would possibly like to pursue in my life.
